Dering Woods 5/2-great horned owl, blue-headed vireo, ruby-crowned kinglet, WOOD THRUSH, BLUE-WINGED WARBLER, NORTHERN PARULA, black-throated green warbler, palm warbler, BLACK AND WHITE WARBLER, OVENBIRD, possible hooded warbler, Baltimore oriole and purple finch. Hay Beach Point 5/6-greater yellowlegs. Ice Pond Park 5/7-WARBLING VIREO. Mashomack Preserve 4/27-about 12 glossy ibis (by Mike Laspia). 4/29-four wild turkeys. The turkeys that seem to be here all of a sudden may not be as wild as we thought. 4/30-WILLET, sanderling, NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW and YELLOW WARBLER (all by Mike Scheibel). 5/2-GREAT CRESTED FLYCATCHER, YELLOW-THROATED VIREO and NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH (all by unknown observers). 5/3-AMERICAN REDSTART (by unknwon observer). 5/4-BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON, EASTERN KINGBIRD and COMMON YELLOWTHROAT (all by unknown observers). Menantic Road 5/3-Baltimore oriole (by Dorothy Seiberling). Penny's Path 5/5-male Baltimore oriole (by Norma Sloane). Petticott Lane 5/3-two VEERIES, yellow warbler, numerous yellow-rumped warblers, palm wabler and ovenbird (all by Orhan Birol). South Ferry 5/4-LAUGHING GULL. South Ferry Maintenance Area 5/5-GREEN HERON. Sylvestor Manor 5/7-red-breasted merganser, six blue-winged warblers, two northern parulas, BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER, yellow-rumped warbler, two black-throated green warblers, two savannah sparrows two BOBOLINKS and orchard oriole. Ward Road 5/2-BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER. 5/3-ORCHARD ORIOLE. 5/4-ruby-crowned kinglet. 5/5-northern parula. 5/6-rose-breasted grosbeak. Westmoreland Area 5/6-green heron and blue-winged warbler.
