Good vantage points include the patio next to the pavilion, the rocks at the base of the lighthouse and a hill midway between the pavilion and lighthouse.  Binoculars a must, spotting scope very helpful.


Birds mentioned above usually arrive in Montauk by mid-November and stay through mid-to-late March.
